Bill Kasler

ATHENS - Bill G. Kasler, 85, of Athens, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, April 18, 2007 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1922 on Hooper Ridge, he was the son of the late Harmond and Eva Woolley Kasler. He was retired from McBeechr(39)s with 37 years of service and was a US Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by a son, Stephen Kasler of Athens. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez in 2004; two sons, Larry and Keith Kasler; five brothers and sisters, Helen Wolfe, Eldon Kasler, Carol Kasler, Eleanor Hines, and Wilbur Kasler. Sevices will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5 to 7 pm.
