Dorothy Conner

ATHENS - Dorothy Conner, 71, of Athens, died early Monday morning, June 4, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Born Feb. 7, 1936 in ATHENS county, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Eliza P. Hanson Holdcroft.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dwayne; three children, Debra (Jack) Riley of Athens, Sandra Conner and her fiancé Jeff Bridgeman of Athens, David (Pam) Conner of Athens; seven grandchildren, Dan (Becky) Riley, Joe (Raye) Riley, Rob (Connie) Sinnett, Amy Sinnett, Andy Conner, Kasi Conner, Tisha Conner; seven great grandchildren, Heidi, Jared, Ashley, Skyler, Megan, Kendall, Corey; three brothers, Tom (Cleo) Holdcroft of The Plains, Richard Holdcroft of Athens, Harry Holdcroft of Athens.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Smith.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3:00 pm at Hilltop Cemetery with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.
