Catherine Tucker

            ATHENS - Catherine M. Tucker, 83, of Athens, died Wednesday morning, January 2, 2008 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Born December 22, 1924 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Elton Frost and Mary Bobo Frost Chubb.

She was a homemaker and helped operate Catherinechr(39)s Antiques with her late husband, George from 1977 to 1997.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Sue) Tucker of Logan, Herb Tucker of Athens; a daughter, Marilyn "Jeanie& McCoy of Nelsonville; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn (Bud) Wilhelm of Montana, and Lula (Victor) Carsey of Parkersburg, WV.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George R. Tucker; a son, Gary E. Tucker; two brothers, Roscoe and Wimp Frost; and a sister, Jean Carter.
