Richard Cooksey

ATHENS - Richard "Dick& Cooksey, 52, of Athens, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at his home.

Born February 12, 1956 in Athens, he was the son of Milton and Bonnie Cooksey.

He attended ATHENS -chools and graduated in 1974. He was employed by ATHENS county Highway Department, and was an avid hunter and fisherman with his son and friends.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Jeremy; brothers, Jim (Susan) Cooksey and Hubert Cooksey; sister, Roxanne (Don) Stover and families; brothers-in-law, Bill (Jody) Whitlatch and Dennis Whitlatch and families; father and mother-in-laws, Lewis and Norma Hammond.

The family would like to thank those who helped so much. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to be used for last expenses.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service.
