ATHENS - Fred Lucious Hart, 72, of ATHENS died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Ohio State Hospital in Columbus.
Born February 10, 1939 in ATHENS county, he was the son of the late Floyd and Jessie Tittle Hart.
He attended school in Chauncey, and was employed with Woody Sherwood Tree Services, Kaslers Dairy and Ohio University for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting, and helping others when they needed him.
Fred was a very loving father and grandpa. He always had time for his family and friends who will miss him dearly. Dad and the memories he is leaving behind will always be with us in our hearts.
He is survived by four children, Karen Wemmer (Bruce DeGarmore), Linda Bowen, Brenda (Kent) Eddy, and Fred (Pauline) Hart; grandchildren, Michelle, Heather, Teara, Les, Mike, Jamie and Jessica; great grandchildren, Kyle, Astacia, Clarissa, Austin, Brendon, Sierra, Makayla, Hayden, Brady, Tori, Aaron, Skyler, Jacob, Ryan and Aamon; brothers, Joe, Floyd Jr., and Harold; sisters, Wilma, Sis, and Jaunita.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Hart; daughter, Freda Ann Hart; grandson, John Bowen; sisters, Grace and Thelma Jean; and brothers, Willard, James and John.
Services will be held Friday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Earl James officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service.
