The Plains – Hester O. Radcliff, 90, of The Plains, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center. Born September 25, 1925 in Ross County, she was the daughter of the late William and Carrie Fannon Zickafoos. She was retired from Ohio University after 23 years of service. She is survived by two sons and six daughters, Rev. Carl (Kay) Radcliff of McArthur, Roy (Kathy) Radcliff of The Plains, Ida (John Williams) Keaton of Glouster, Velma Waite of Cumberland, Rachel Radcliff of Glouster, Dixie (John) Tucker of Cutler, Delilah (Jeff) Carsey of Nelsonville, Carolyn Radcliff of Joy; 35 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Beverage, Dorothy may, and Mary Current. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Radcliff; two sons, Robert and John Radcliff; and a brother, Oliver William Zickafoos. Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev.’s Stan West and John Butcher officiating. Burial will be in Graham’s Chapel.
