Sharon Rose Cullison Carey

ATHENS – Sharon Rose Cullison Carey, 69, of Marietta, formerly of Athens, died early Thursday morning, April 28, 2016 in Marietta. Born January 14, 1947 in Hollister, she was the daughter of the late Ross D. Carey and was raised by her mother and stepfather, the late Marie Spaniard Carey Stoncel and Louis R. Stoncel. She was employed at General Telephone as an operator in Athens for many years and was a full time loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Richard “Clay” (Lori) Cullison; two grandchildren, Tarah (Ryan) Bailey, Ryan Epperly; two great grandchildren, Leah and Charlee Rae Bailey, all of Belpre; and her sister, Nora “Doodie” North of Toledo. Services will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Friends may call Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
