Garnette Gall

ATHENS – Garnette Gall, 91, of Athens, died Thursday morning, June 2, 2016 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born January 25, 1925 in Guysville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vennie Hawk Klingenberg. She was a graduate of Rome-Canaan High School and attended Ohio University. She was retired from Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Athens. She was also a member of the Athens American Legion Auxiliary and a charter member of the Athens Women’s Bowling Association. She is survived by four nephews, Arnold Klingenberg, David, Dana and Robert Gall; and a sister-in-law, Betty Gall. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Gall; two brothers, Foster and Howard Klingenberg. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at West Union Street Cemetery with Rev. Robert McDowell officiating.
