Racine - Adam Calaway, 49, of Racine, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Born August 9, 1973 in Parkersburg, WV, he is the son of Dorothy Burke Kelly and the late Everett “Buck” Calaway. Adam worked in the timber business his entire life. He was a member of the Racine Gun Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Along with mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Candy Riffle Calaway; 2 sons, Kevin (Heather) Phillips and Michael Riffle; one daughter, Chelsie Riffle; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy (Chris) Harper and Dr. Melissa (Tim) Rowe and three nieces and two nephews.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Coolville Cemetery. Friends are encourage to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
