Anna Catherine Olson

Anna Catherine Olson, 99, of Athens, died Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022 at her home after a brief illness with her family by her side.

Born October 1, 1923 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Fay and Nettie Mae Jeffers Hawk. She a graduate of Athens High School and a home maker.

She is survived by a son, Dan (Rene) Olson of Athens; two granddaughters, Kim (Brian) Lovsey of Athens, Laurie (Todd) Perkins of Evanston, IL; five great grandchildren, Tatum, Kenna, Levi Lovsey of Athens, Ellyot, Isaac Perkins of Evanston, IL; and five nieces, Linda Surber, Pam Ramirez, Esther Klinebriel, Judie Teagarden, and Theresa Cline.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Olson; a sister, Gertrude Spencer Sherwood; and two brothers, Paul and Charles Hawk.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hughes Moquin Funeral Home with Phil Foster officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.
