Carl “Ed” Farley

Guysville - Carl “Ed” Farley, 71, of Guysville, died Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Kimes Nursing and Rehab in Athens, Ohio.

Born February 24, 1954, in Caldwell, Ohio, he was the son of Reba Landaker Farley and the late Carl Farley. Ed was a lifelong truck driver hauling cattle out west. He enjoyed horses and traveling in his RV to Arizona.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Judy Rodehaver-Farley; two daughters, Christina Arigoni and Karen Camp; three grandchildren, Megan Workman, Shania May and Allison Cottrill; three great grandchildren Evelyn King, Lainey King and Carlisle Cottrill; two brothers, Ryan and Brain Farley; one sister Chawn Stires; Five step children, Tonya Baker, Keith Bowers, Tiffany Coffman, Rebekah Beck and Nicole Roy, thirteen step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Farley.

A celebration of life will be held this summer with a date to be announced by Ed’s family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com.
