Cecil Dillon, Jr.
Cecil Vermont Dillon, Jr., loving husband, father and grandfather, 84 of Belpre, OH, formerly a longtime resident of Reedsville, OH passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1923 in Steubenville, OH son of the late Lula Shultz Dillon and Cecil V. Dillon, Sr. He was an Army veteran, a Union Carpenter and a longtime member of the Reedsville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie Nellie Bowman Dillon, a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Alice Dillon; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and Ivan Everson; a sister, Evelyn Mundry; 2 brothers, Roger Dillon and Ronald Dillon; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; a sister; and a grandson.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Reedsville Church of Christ with Mark Tonkery officiating. Burial will be in the Reedsville Cemetery.
