Chester Harry Gorrell
COOLVILLE—Chester Harry Gorrell, 83, of Coolville, OH, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.
He was born May 9, 1939, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Chester R. and Lorean Sams Gorrell. Harry was an Army Veteran and retired from DuPont with 36 years of service. He was also a member of Vanderhoof Baptist Church and loved to play country music.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Gorrell; 2 daughters, Lynn and Tim Blakeley and Susan Conley; 2 grandchildren, Brooks Blakeley and Tessa Blakeley; brother, Mike and Patti Gorrell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Meigs Memory Gardens in Pomeroy, OH, with Pastor Craig Holler officiating.
There will be no visitation.
