Athens

Athens - David Clyde Mohr, 64, of Athens, died unexpectedly, Monday, June 22, 2026, at his residence.

Born March 24, 1962, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert Glenn and Delores Jean Dittmar Mohr. David had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Whether it was riding them or restoring them he just loved spending time with his Harleys. He was a self proclaimed outlaw and the toughest man alive. He had many artistic skills and was a great artist. He never met a party he didn’t like and was the life of the party. He was a member of the Eagles in Struthers, PA and enjoyed David Alan Coe.

He is survived by his daughter, Violet Mohr; his son, David (Autumn Kimmey) Mohr; six grandchildren, Ethan, Adriana, Kia, Zika, Raven and Scarlet; one brother, Glenn Mohr and one sister, Lori Mattie.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Mohr Jr and his life partner, Sally Moore.

David’s wishes were to be taken home to Youngstown, Ohio and be buried with his parents. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com. Arrangements have entrusted with the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens.
