Denver Earl Collins

Denver Earl Collins, 76, of Little Hocking, Ohio, passed away on, January 12, 2021, at Camden Clark Medical Center with his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Collins, by his side.

Denver was born November 6, 1944 to the late Nay Collins and Mildred Fredrick-Collins.

Denver was retired from the O. Ames Company of Parkersburg, West Virginia. As a younger man he enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed many hunting adventures, as well as, raising beagles with the Watson brothers. He was a member of the Little Hocking Church of Christ.

Even though Denver was from a large family, he and his 11 siblings were close. His siblings that have preceded him in death are Willena Maze, Thomas Collins, Dorsey Collins, Charles Collins, Harold Collins, Kenneth Collins, Jo Ann Lowe, James Collins, Sue Calloway, and Sharon Brookover. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Kerrigan. In addition to siblings, Denver has many nieces and nephews that were special to him.

Denver is also survived by his children Elaine Chevalier (Stephan) of Belpre, Ohio, Susan Scott (Paul) of Little Hocking, Ohio, and Jody Martin (Scott) of Little Hocking, Ohio; along with grandchildren Courtney Mills (Zach), Kyle Scott (Katie), Kayla Chevalier, Callum Martin, and Cavan Martin; and great-grandchildren Cole Mills and Leah Mills.

There will be a private graveside service with Pastor Steve Fuchs officiating at Newbury Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Hocking Fire and Rescue Emergency Service in remembrance of Denver Collins. The address is PO Box 213 Little Hocking, Ohio 45742.
