GUYSVILLE—Donald W. Coler (Poncho), 73, of Guysville, OH, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Don was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital to the late Herbert and Hilda Coler on June 16, 1949. Besides both parents, Don was preceded in death by a son, Chad Coler.
Don is survived by his wife, Jonni Coler; daughter, Jenny Church (Chuck); son, Anthony Coler (Dara); Daughter, Lisa Coler (Justin); grandchildren, Sydney Coler (Michael), Walker Church (Destiny), Casen Church and Bryce Coler. He is also survived by two sisters, Carolyn Christopher, Barb Cosner and several nieces and nephews.
Don was a retired concrete truck driver and retired President of BOTW. Don was a decorated Marine in the Vietnam War, who proudly served his country.
Don had a passion for enjoying life through his family, friends, fishing, running his mud truck at Swampstock events and riding his Harley.
No services will be conducted but a Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date.
