 COOLVILLE—Dottie Lou Mays, 72, of Coolville, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

 She was born Aug. 11, 1951, in Athens, OH, daughter of Ida Life Boggs and the late F. Berl Boggs. Dottie was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9053 Ladies Auxilary, where she served as Secretary for over 20 years.

 In addition to her mother, Ida, she is survived by her husband, Jackson M. Mays; 4 children, Scott (Lyn) Justis, Heather Gottke (Ron), Jackie (Jeff) Rankin and James Mays; 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Hunter, Chelsea, Gracie and Kasey; 4 great-grandchildren, Karson, Waylon, Bryson and Weston; brother, Bobby (Linda) Boggs; 3 sisters, Janice (Bob) Pullins, Bernice (Ranson) Calaway and Edna (Duane) Weber.

 She was preceded in death by her father, F. Berl Boggs.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Tuppers Plains VFW Post 905
