Gene Autry Estep
June 17, 1939 — July 2, 2018
MILLFIELD – Gene Autry Estep, 79, of Millfield, died Monday morning, July 2, 2018 at his home.
Born June 17, 1939 in Paintsville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William and Susie McCoy Estep.
He formerly was a chef at Southern Hotel in Columbus and retired from Buckeye Steel. He also loved to play Bingo, Horseshoes and Euchre.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte Estep; seven children, George Estep, William (Lisa) Estep, Lisa (Larry) Estep, Christopher (Peggy) Estep, Paul (Jamie) Estep, Mitzi Estep, Teresa (Daniel) Hook; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons; 12 siblings; and a daughter-in-law.
