LITTLE HOCKING—Hazel McGirr, 86, of Little Hocking, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 3. 2019 at her home.
She was born March 6, 1933, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Ethel and Roy Husk.
She worked as a cook and retired from Little Hocking Elementary School.
She is survived by her son Joe McGirr (Jane) of Little Hocking; her daughter Keron Brown (Eldon) of Little Hocking; grandchildren Mike McVicar (Mary) of Tallahassee, Emma McGirr (Ben) of Las Vegas, Seth and Jed McGirr of Little Hocking and great-granddaughter Hazel Grace McVicar and her extended family Melissa Brown (Randy), Ethan and Max Brown and several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Wade McGirr.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Decatur United Methodist Cemetery.
Family will greet friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Monday.
