Athens - Heavenly Ann Peterson-Miller, eight month old baby girl, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Athens.

Born September 6, 2024, in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of John Roosevelt Peterson III and Abbigail Miller.

Along with her parents, she is survived by two siblings, Araina Miller and Raven Peterson-Miller; aunts, Brooklyn Miller, Melissa Ash, Gabbie Flynn, Tegan Flynn, April (Matthew) Hixson, Celena Smith, Myaha Heath and Megan (Bruce) Means; uncles, Nathaniel Miller, Declan Miller, Jonathon Ash, Joseph Peterson, Kobey Peterson, Damario Peterson, Jasper Golden and Matthew Peterson; grandparents, Nathan Miller and Alisha Flynn, Michelle and James Parsons, Jolene McClain and Kareem Shirer, Jay Peterson and Brandy Sanders, Elizabeth Creamer and Ron Riley; great grandparents, Brenda and Francis Wade and Janet Seeley; cousins, Dean Smith, Jared Smith, Delilah Peterson, Amina Peterson and Kehani Peterson; she had many great aunts and uncles and was loved by so many.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Edith Miller, Vondalyn Rogersher and Ella Starcher; great great grandmother, Edith Ross; great grandfather, Virgil Parsons and great aunt Melissa Sue Wade.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens with Delbert Wingardner officiating. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com.
