COOLVILLE—James E. Hamilton, 87, of Coolville, OH, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 18, 1939, in Huntington, WV, son of the late James E. Hamilton, Sr. and Louisa Sturgeon Hamilton.

James is survived by a son, James K. and Nola Hamilton; daughter, Lisa Lieving; 2 grandchildren, James E. Hamilton III and Jessie Homes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Sandra Hamilton and a daughter, Sherry.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
