Jerry Keith Sayre

GUYSVILLE—Jerry Keith Sayre, 59, of Guysville, OH, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, OH.

He was born July 24, 1967, in Athens, OH, son of the late Ralph and Betty Sayre. Jerry was a 1985 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and a retired tow truck driver for Curtis Towing and AutoTech. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Trudie Rodehaver Sayre; 2 sons, Christopher Sayre (Alana Herdman) and Logan Sayre; 2 daughters, SueAnn Weed and Destanee Hale; 3 grandchildren, Rhett Weed, Scarlette Weed and Cayden Youtsey; a granddaughter on the way, Wrenley Sayre; 2 sisters, his twin, Jody Sayre McNeely and Crystal Kruskamp; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Debbie and Larry Rodehaver; 2 brothers-in-law, Shawn (Julie) Rodehaver and Garrett Rodehaver; 2 sisters-in-law, Wendi (Josh) Moeck and Holly (Zach) Cain; uncle, Chris Kruskamp; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Jennifer, Jackie and Judy and an aunt, Diane Kruskamp.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
