John Harris Jr.

BELPRE—John Harris Jr., 71, of Belpre, OH, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.

He was born Jan. 7, 1955, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late John Harris, Sr. and Betty June Harp.

John is survived by a son, John Harris III (Grace) of Greenbrier County, WV; daughter, April Gibson of Surprise, AZ; 2 sisters, Stella Johnson (Sherry) and Patsy Hornbeck (Bridgett) both of Parkersburg, WV; 8 grandchildren, Cynthia Bickford, Dexter Harris, Eric Gibson, Anthony Gibson, John Harris IV, Dakota Harris, Emily Harris and Timothy Goins; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harris Sr. and Betty June Harp.

Per John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
