Judy Dean

Judy Dean nee Fisher, age 81, passed away on May 11, 2025, at her home in Naperville, IL where she was a resident for over 40 years. She was born August 18 1943, in Sharpsburg, OH.

Judy was the beloved wife of Gary Dean for more than 58 years, loving mother of the late Jennifer Dean, adored grandmother of Evan Dean (who was also Judy’s caregiver) of Naperville, IL devoted daughter of the late Charles “Jess” and Iva Fisher nee Minerd, dear sister of Canda (Mike) Conkle of Logan, OH, Jo (the late George) Davidson of Jacksonville, NC and five deceased siblings and friend of many.

Judy was a 1961 graduate of Ames-Bern High School where she was a classmate with Gary from first grade until graduation. She will best be remembered for her caring and kindness by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held August 5th, 2025 at 1:00pm at Hughes Funeral Home in Athens with visitation at noon prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Amesville Cemetery, Amesville, OH.
