Kathleen “Kay” Schwarzel
January 9, 1943 — March 20, 2020
Kathleen ”Kay” Ruth Wildman Schwarzel , of Belpre, Ohio, passed away at OSU Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Kay was born in Parkersburg in January 9, 1943, Kay was the daughter of the late Millard “Bill” Wildman and Ruth Fitch Wildman.
Kay worked at Schwarzel Marine with her husband John for 35 years. She was a very active member of Belpre Church of Christ. Kay loved to travel and had visited Europe and most of the United States, She had many annual visits to California, where she visited the beaches and enjoyed the Disneyland parades. She was always proud that all of her children had college degrees and recently went to Florida to see her daughter Barbara get her M.B.A.
Kay is survived by her husband John Schwarzel of Coolville, OH, her 2 daughters, Dianna Null (Mark) Jason of Santa Clarita, CA, Barbara Null (Jim) Stroup of Santa Clarita , CA, one son Michael Null of Dublin, Ohio and one step-son, Blaine (Amanda) Schwarzel of Coolville, Ohio and 5 grandchildren; Delaney and Kellan Jason and Bryan, Dylan and Thomas Schwarzel. Sisters Alice Wildman (Jack) Wilson, Ada Wildman Roach, Joan Wildman (Ron) Tryon, Linda Wildman and brother George Wildman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, sisters Betty Wildman, Ann Wildman (Harold) Staats and brother Curtis Wildman.
A private family service will take place later.
