Kenneth Lunsford

Racine - Kenneth Lunsford, 86, of Racine, died Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Abbyshire Place in Bidwell, Ohio.

Born September 19, 1939, in Chapmanville, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Leonard and Catherine Allshire Lunsford. Ken was a United States Army veteran having served in West Germany from 1956-1959. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and the Ohio River.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Lunsford; seven grandchildren Ricky, River, TJ, Christine, Kenny, Josh and Ryan, several great grandchildren and one sister, Joyce Stanley.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rick; a sister Brenda; brothers, Jack, Leonard, Charles, Don; and a daughter-in-law, Catherine Lunsford.

Ken wishes were that a riverside Celebration of Life service and fishing derby in his honor be held in late May of this year at Dock 24 RV Park in Racine.  Details will be finalized in late April. He will be buried in the Rock Springs Cemetery in Pomeroy, Ohio. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
