BELPRE--Lila went to be with her precious Savior Jesus Christ on July 9th, 2021.
She was born in Byesville, Ohio on January 31, 1935. She graduated from Belpre High School in 1953 and married Charles Nichols on July 6, 1956. Lila retired from Walker Systems after 34 years of very enjoyable service. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Coolville for several years.
Lila is survived by several nieces and nephews and a very loving and supportive Nichols family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nichols; brother, Jerry Higgins; sister, Judy Higgins Wingrove and grandparents, Leonard and Lillie Gates.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday one hour prior to service.
