Lonnie Starcher, Jr.

ATHENS—Lonnie Starcher, Jr., 57, of Athens, OH, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at Hickory Creek of Athens.

He was born Jan. 18, 1968, in Marietta, OH, son of the late Marlene (Bowers) and Lonnie Starcher, Sr. He was a 1987 graduate of Federal Hocking High School. Lonnie was a Christian, loved both of his sons, building houses and mowing yards. He was also an avid Steelers and Buckeyes Fan.

He is survived by his sons, Ethan Starcher and David Starcher; a brother, Clarence Bower and a sister, Phylis Saylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle, Mark Bowers.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.
