Michael Kubisek, Sr.

 COOLVILLE—Michael William Kubisek Sr., 84, of Coolville, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2025, at his residence.

 He was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Danbury, CT, son of the late Edward A. and Theodora Merrilees Kubisek. He was a retired school teacher for Alachua Florida County Public Schools, a sign language interpreter and a member of Americorps. Michael was also a previous President of the Lottridge Community Center, an avid story teller, traveler and book reader.

 He is survived by his special friend, John Almashy; son, Michael William Kubisek, Jr; daughter, Kristen Cornford; 3 brothers, Ed Kubisek, Ted Kubisek and Bill Kubisek; a sister, Kathy Wolf and several nieces, nephews and friends.

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 5PM, at the Lottridge Community Center.
