Michael Eugene Rutter

THE PLAINS—Michael Eugene Rutter, 68 of The Plains, passed away early Monday morning, August 10, 2020 at his home. Born October 5, 1951 in Athens, he was the son of the late Oris Ray and Beulah Pauline White Rutter.

He was an avid camper and loved to deer hunt. His love for his family was true and unending.

He is survived by his three step-children, Shelly Rutter, Tracy Jack, Brian Lee; siblings, Vickie Whightsel, Jeff (Eileen) Rutter, Donnie (Natalie) Rutter, Rodney Rutter, Trina (Harry) Barnes, Lisa (Jamie) Wade, Stephanie (Bryan) Witham; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Charlie, Steve, Randy, and Bryan.
