Morgan A Tritipo

Athens - Morgan A. Tritipo, 38, of Athens, died peacefully Monday, September 21, 2026, at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens.

Born May 28, 1988, in Athens, Ohio, she was the daughter of Shelly Goodwin Baker. Morgan was a 2006 graduate of Athens High School where she participated in cheerleading and numerous other activities. After high school Morgan earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Ohio University while working in the medical field. She touched many lives in her medical career with both patients and coworkers. She enjoyed spending hot summer days on the Ohio River camping and boating with her girls. Morgan’s true passion was 4H. From the time she was a child she was obsessed with it as a member of Salem Livestock. As a participant she had pigs and turkeys. After her days as a participant, she stayed overly active as a 4H leader. She has passed this love for 4H on to her daughters and other children she has mentored. Morgan’s family was her pride and joy. She was the one who kept her entire family in line and all united through thick and thin. She was a caring and loving daughter, sister, mother and wife, but mostly a best friend to all of them. She was Danny’s rock. A quote from one of her friends went like this: “Not many people are as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside but for Morgan it was true. She was truly a light and always made people feel included and valued.”

She is survived by her high school love, Danny Tritipo; four daughters, Bristol, Saylor, Myer and Baylen Tritipo; her mother, Shelly and Brian Baker; three brothers, Carson Baker (Chloe Stickdorn), Landon Baker and Cory (Bailey Borland); maternal grandparents, Mike and Candy Goodwin; mother and father-in-law, Wes and Kelly Tritipo; two brothers-in-law, Travis (Cassie) Tritipo and Joey Tritipo and two special friends, Courtney Abfall and Elizabeth McDonald.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Route 13 Event Center in Millfield, Ohio.

Morgan was not a fan of flowers, thus the family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to: Morgan’s Girls Foundation, care of Hocking Valley Bank, 7 West Stimson Ave, Athens, Ohio 45701.
