REEDSVILLE—Patty Barringer Powell, 83, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 13, 1943, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late James and Ruth Barber Barringer. Patty was a graduate of Eastern High School and married Delbert Dale Powell in 1966. She attended Eden United Brethren Church

She is survived by a brother, Carl Barringer; nephew, Patrick and Tanya Barringer; great-nephew, Josh and Ashley Barringer; 2 great-nieces, Morgan and Brandon Coleman and Olivia Barringer; 3 great-great-nieces, Emery Coleman, Annaelise Coleman and Emma Barringer; step-niece, Melanie Nething and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Powell; grandparents, Roy and Ellen Baker Barber, James and Laura Pullins Barringer and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Charles Martindale officiating. Burial will follow in the Eden Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
