Rickie Causey

REEDSVILLE--Rickie Causey, 69, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 4, 1957, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late John and Sylvia Westfall Causey. Rick was a retired Supervisor for Paul Peterson Construction Company and a member of the Forked Run Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rose Marie Causey; son, Rickie Lee and Linzie Causey; daughter, Christina and Jeremy Nelson; 5 grandchildren, J.T. Nelson, Emma Causey, Hayes Causey, Breanna Nelson and Finn Causey; brother, John and Tammy Causey; 2 sisters, Teresa Shamp and Jenny and Jeff Knotts and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, from 5-7 P.M.
