LONG BOTTOM—Rodney E. Pierce, 72, of Long Bottom, OH, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department in Pomeroy.
He was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Dora Larkins and Rodney E. Pierce.
He is survived by 2 sons, Eldon Pierce and Terry Pierce; a nephew, Elmo (Steph) Pierce; 2 nieces, Kathryn Durst (David Dye) and Linda (Rick) Putman; several great-nieces and great-nephews and a special companion, his cat, “Little Man.”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol; 2 sons, Rodney and Terry; a step-son, Owen; a brother, Elmo and a niece, Tammy.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 from 4-6 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
There will be no funeral service.
