Roger E Carpenter

Rutland – Roger E. Carpenter, 74, of Rutland, OH, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Born on January 30, 1952, in Pomeroy, OH, he is the son of the late Perry and Iva (Hensley) Carpenter.

Roger is survived by three sons, Roger Carpenter Jr., Greg (Tricia) Carpenter, and Anthony Carpenter; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Brylee, Anthony, and Maddison; one great grandson, Greyson; and one brother, Butch (Maxine) Carpenter.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney Carpenter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to White Funeral Home.
