Roland Jay Garcia

Coolville - Roland Jay Garcia, 67, of Coolville, died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport, Ohio.
Born November 16, 1954 in Brownwood, Texas, he was the son of the late Julian and Jane Rivera Garcia. Roland was a cook and enjoyed his craft. He spent many hours of his spare time cooking for various community events in Coolville. He also volunteered at a homeless shelter in Parkersburg.
He is survived by two sisters, Jo Ann (Jose) Silguero and Florence (Francisco) Moreno and eight nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner Thomas Thorne; one brother, Benito Santana and one sister, Edwina Santana.
