Roy William Collett
Roy William Collett, 78, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1934 in Parkersburg, WV son of the late Charles Walter and Avis Mae Collett Taggart. He was a Navy veteran, a barber and was baptized in Little Hocking Church of Christ.
He is survived by 2 sons, William Collett and Charles R. Collett; a daughter, Julia Welch; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Collett.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Steve Fuchs officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Alzheimers Association.
