Shane Simmons

Shane Simmons, 59, of Coolville, OH, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 20, 1967, in Parkersburg, WV, son of Judy Dawson Simmons and the late Donald W. Simmons. Shane was an avid fisherman and loved motor sports. He loved traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Judy Simmons, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Julie Power Simmons; 2 sons, Josh and Kaylli Simmons and Casey Simmons; granddaughter, Adeline Simmons; sister, Tobie and Chris Newberry; mother-in-law, Carol Power; sister-in-law, Lori and Evan Henock; 2 nephews, Christopher Newberry and Cameron Henock and a niece, Carlee Azar.

Including his father, Donald W. Simmons, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bud Power.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Simmons Family Farm Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
