Sharon “Cricket” Lynn Haning Ridenour of Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday December 20, 2025, at her residence. Sharon was born on November 23, 1959, to Clarence and Clara Haning. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon was a devoted Ohio State Football fan and never missed a game. She also enjoyed collecting wolf items from various locations during our vacations. She enjoyed collecting nutcracker figurines.
Sharon is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 34 years, Lowell Allen Ridenour; her sons Roger [Nicole] Arix, Keith [Ashley] Arix, Jason Arix; daughter, Laura [Brian] Jividen; stepsons, Jacob [Lynsey] Ridenour and Zachary [Ciara] Ridenour; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, Russ and Bruce Haning; sisters, Bonnie [Tiny] Whittington, Barbara [Steve Cotterill]; special friend James Stewart; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Haning and sister, Betty Wyant.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, on Monday, December 22, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Chester Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11 AM until the time of the service.
