Sharon Rose Schall, 82, of Guysville, died Monday, November 25, 2024 at Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville.
Born May 1, 1942, in Guysville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Beulah Christy Hutchens. Sharon had many “Grannyisms” she shared with all, including “Money doesn’t make you rich, life does”…”.Blinkin’ like a toad in a hail storm”…”Oh what a tangled web we weave, when at first we practice to deceive” …and so many more!
Oh my little mommie, I miss daddy calling me lady or love. Now I wont hear that Wendy Connie when you are after me about something. You have been my entertainment for so long you sassy little thing. I’ll forever remember our sleepovers, eating, flipping the tv and just chatting it up. I’ll see you again someday and I’m still gonna poke your hand and ask you if you want some pudding. Kiss daddy for us all. We love you
She is survived by her children, Cory (Shelly) Schall, Wendy (Jay) Proffitt and Warren (Tina) Schall; grandchildren, Emily, Lisa, Delcee, Charles, Larissa, Hillary and Blake; great grandchildren, Chandler, Walker, Kylee and Austin: one brother, Danny; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou and two brother-in-laws, Carl and Roger.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years in May of this year, William Henry Schall Jr,; two sisters, Shelby and Shirley and two sister-in-laws, Sally and Karen.
Private services will be held at a later date. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh,com. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens.
