Susan Bennett Wolfe

THE Plains-- Susan Bennett Wolfe, 69, of The Plains, OH, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 2, 1957, in Athens, OH, daughter of the late Donald and Doris Finserwald Bennett. Susan was a 1975 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and Tri-County Vocational School. She was a foster parent for Athens County for 16 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Zoey Forrider and Faith Bennett Wolfe; two grandsons, Lane and Zander Forrider; a brother, Bud and Linda Bennett and her sister and best friend, Kathy Kyle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Bennett and Donnie Bennett.

A Celebration of Life with refreshments, will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2-5 P.M., at the Coolville Volunteer Fire Dept.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
