Vicki Lynn Brown

ATHENS - Vicki Lynn Brown, 49, of Athens, died unexpectedly in a house fire on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her residence.

Born August 7, 1974, in Athens, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Mary Brown.  Vicki was a 1992 graduate of Athens High School.  She was most recently employed at the Hampton Inn in Athens.  She had previous jobs as a nurse at Kimes and Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center and as a manager of Goodwill.  She was a great mother who made many sacrifices for her family.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Brown (Montana Hunter); one daughter, Kayla Lynn Brown (Eric Withem); longtime companion and best friend Calvin Donohue; one step-grandson, Quinton Lee; one sister Sandra Petrey; a brother Ricky and several nieces and nephews.

Also passing away in the fire were her daughter Katelin Jettibelle Brown and grandchildren Eaiden Wayne Brown and Naiomary Bellelynn Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens.
