Pomeroy - Virgil Harold Taylor, 77, of Cincinnati, formerly of Pomeroy, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Cincinnati.
Born December 1, 1938 in Meigs County, he was the son of the late Isaac Arthur and Lennie James Taylor.
He is survived by two sons, Virgil (Jelema) Taylor Jr. and Herschel (Jennifer) Taylor; three grandchildren, Herschel Eric Taylor, Patricia (Darren) Taylor Ford and Elysia Taylor; three great grandchildren, Zoey Taylor, Darren Ford Jr. and Jaxon Ford and one sister Evelyn Watson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 2001, Linda Kennedy Taylor; one son William Isaac Taylor; five brothers, Clifford, James, William, Joseph and Delbert and two sisters Betty Taylor and Zelma Grady.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, May, 2, 2016 at the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Rev Gene Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Pomeroy. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday. Freinds are invited to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net.
