Vyona R. Crites

BELPRE – Vyona R. Crites, 81, of Belpre, OH, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on January 4, 1944, in Sabine, WV, to the late James and Zetta (Lafferty) Milam.

Vyona is survived by her husband, Larry Crites; one daughter, Shirley (Russell) Canter; one son, Michael (Wendy) Chutes; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Georgia Marshall, Faye Billings, and Fran Liggett; two uncles, Paul and Willie Milam; and three step-sons, Richard, Larry and Eric Crites.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patricia Vie Day; two brothers, Jim and Henry Milam; and two sisters, Libby and Catherine.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor George Horner officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 5 to 7PM.
