Wilbert "Bill" F. Owens, Jr

COOLVILLE—Wilbert “Bill” F. Owens, Jr., 79, of Coolville, OH, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.

He was born Feb. 5, 1946, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Pauline (Fien) and Wilbert Owens, Sr. He worked for Walker in Parkersburg as a welder and fabricator. Wilbert loved his family, fishing, camping and riding his side by side.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Owens; son, Jerry (Tammy) Owens; 2 daughters, Becky Cottrill (Herb Dickey) and Rhonda Owens (Eddie Cottrill); 4 grandchildren, Caleb, Chelsie, Kayla and Mary; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Linda) Owens; a sister, Tressa (Dick) McMullen and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy; grandson, C.J.; 3 brothers, James, Clarence and Stephen and a niece, Leslie.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow in the Meigs Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, from 10 A.M. until time of service.
