William Scott Brunty

COOLVILLE - William Scott Brunty, 61, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

He was born on October 17, 1963, to the late Ralph and Judy Brunty. Scott loved and valued his family more than anything. He was a diehard browns fan, who loved working in his garden and had an amazing “green” thumb. If he wasn’t enjoying his garden, with Sherry, he was throwing shoes in the holler. Scott had the exceptional ability of making a friend out of a stranger. He had the biggest heart and lived life to the fullest.

Scott was survived by his wife, Sherry Gillespie Brunty; four children, Amber Brunty, Daniel Brunty, Jess Diamond & Dylan Gillespie; and four siblings, Rocky Brunty, Donna Chapman, Stephanie Swartz & Matt Brunty.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Jamie Brunty.

A celebration of life will take place on August 16, 2025, at 23267 Sand Rock Road, Coolville, OH 45723.
